SOTSP: HOP 393 Cycle 24/25 Equatorial
2023-03-03T23:39:55 to 2023-03-04T02:33:38
Science Goal: Cycle 24/25 equatorial transition
Program: Normal 320"x82", 1 side, Q75
Target: Active Region
xcen=-21 ycen=90
Instrument: SOTSP
HOP/JOP: 393
Description: request to SOT SOT requests: ---------- brief instruction (general) ----------- ID: 0x1ce (Normal 320"x82") One full resolution, full width, half slit (512 px), normal map centered on the central meridian and the solar equator (latitude 0N). The SSW command hel2arcmin (see an example below) may be used to convert from 0N degrees latitude to arcsec (divide by 60). Corrections should be made for the SOT offset. print,hel2arcmin(0,0,date='2023-feb-11T00:00:00')*60 NOTE TO COs: Run once per week, at a cadence equivalent to HOP 336. Simultaneous observations with HOP 336 are not required. Although tracking curves are preferred for these observations, if there are not enough available, this map should be run with fixed pointing.
