Description: IRIS observes a GOES class M1.5 flare, which is visible in 1330, 1400, and 2796 Å. The flare originates in two ribbons near the image's center. After formation, the ribbons move away from each other and decrease in intensity. The top ribbon stalls over a coronal hole and leaves behind a heated filament.
