Description: IRIS observes a GOES B2.3 class flare on the West limb. The flare brightening begins above the solar surface. However, the flare rapidly evolves forming a semicircular structure near the surface and a jet of flux protruding from the surface. The protruding jet initiates a new coronal rain stream.
