Description: On 18 May 2016, the GOES X-ray (1-8 A) background decreased from the B3 to B2 level. This may have been caused by AR 12542 and 12545 rotating deeper behind the west limb. There is little indication that any of the disk regions decayed. This can be confirmed by making light curves of the individual regions.
