Description: IRIS observes a series of UV bursts in AR 12663. The observed UV bursts occur west of the trailing sunspot in AR 12663, during a coordinated observation with BBSO. While many bursts are just east of the slit, a few times the slit captures the burst. As such, the IRIS spectra show broad emission features. The IRIS spectra also show interesting cool plasma flows in Mg II k and h. The Mg II SJI shows the flows may be related to the UV bursts.
