Description: The filament channel is best seen in the spectral data with the IRIS website featuring the Mg II raster scan. With several hours of daily IRIS observations spanning seven days, filament enthusiasts will be treated to the following observations:\n\n- Counter streaming along the filament channel. But the speeds are still unknown, best to look at the wings of Mg II. \n\n- Bulk mass flow along filament channel. Check out the 12 August 11-17 UT raster scan as an example.\n\n- Spontaneous mass flow from neighboring region into the filament... Or, maybe not. You decide when you check out the 11 August 12-17 UT raster movie. \n\n- Filament material is visible in corresponding GONG H-alpha data. Though it is less extensive.\n\n- Filament channel is much more extensive in AIA 193 than in the IRIS movies.
