CJ: Coronal Jet
Coronal Jet
IRIS observes a repeating jet (last of three observations) emanating from AR 11920. The material from the jet quickly cools and precipitates towards the sun. The spectrum shows strong emission lines (e.g. Mg II and Ca II) as the jet crosses the slit.
