2019-03-22T05:06:17 --> 2019-03-22T05:35:26
C4.8 flare on AR 12736, or a sympathetic flare at the same time.

2019-03-22T10:14:18 --> 2019-03-22T10:22:29
Some parts of flare may be covered by the slit -- unclear because with the different exposures times between cameras, but some spectra appear very enhanced.

2019-03-21T17:13:46 --> 2019-03-21T17:35:58
Sympathetic flare, probably to the C2.6 flare that took place in the same AR 12737, more to the West.

IRIS tracked this northern QS filament for a few days prior. Previously, the filament was only visible in Mg II raster movies; however, now that the filament is on the limb one can see it in the 2796 SJI. You can also now clearly see dynamic north/south motions, which were hinted at in the raster observations.

2019-03-13T00:13:38 --> 2019-03-13T00:55:14
IRIS observes an eruption just south of an extended and wispy prominence.

2019-03-05T08:10:09 --> 2019-03-06T18:00:09
A decaying AR (unnamed by NOAA) in the south hemisphere of the sun. No significant activity (flares or CMEs) was produced by this region.

2019-03-08T00:10:09 --> 2019-03-08T12:50:09
The moment of eruption in AR12734. A slow CME was launched (250 km/s; http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20190308.042816.w048.v0251.p289&frame=10&r)

2019-03-04T16:20:09 --> 2019-03-07T06:40:09
An emerging flux region catalogued by NOAA as AR12734. Activity is seen in the east side of the emerging AR early on March 6 (no clear indication of ejection is seen in LASCO observations : http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/dailymkmovie.php?cme=20190306&r). At the end of the movie the moon is seen obstructing the field of view.

2019-02-26T16:37:38 --> 2019-02-26T17:25:58
The temporal evolution of a prominence on the W limb is observed. It looks like the prominence is slowly shrinking and disappearing. The slit is crossing the event.

2019-02-26T11:24:43 --> 2019-02-26T13:32:46
On 26-Feb-2019 IRIS captured a prominence at the E solar limb. This observational sequence shows how prominences are formed. The slit crosses the event.

2019-03-02T01:10:13 --> 2019-03-02T02:45:01
The eruption followed slow rising motions of closed loops. As a result, a post-eruption arcade formed underneath the eruption and tgemporary dimming was seen in the area to the east.

2019-03-01T01:15:01 --> 2019-03-01T02:21:01
The eruption started from an inverse-S-shaped structure, much smaller than typical active region sigmoids. It affected areas west and southeastern to its origin.

2019-02-28T01:50:25 --> 2019-02-28T04:50:25
The weak eruption appears to be suppressed by an overlying large-scale coronal structure.

2019-02-28T00:10:13 --> 2019-02-28T01:00:37
An eruption from a bright region, which was not large enough to be an active region. A small filament was involved. This had no coronagraphic consequences.

2019-02-27T15:50:25 --> 2019-02-27T20:00:25
This filament eruption occurred in a quiescent region. It is not clear what triggered it. But the CME-like closed loop structure was seen to move outward in two steps, more clearly in 171 A than 211 A. The related CME is http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie_ql.php?cme=20190227.174807.w023.v0340.p260&frame=12.

2019-02-14T07:34:09 --> 2019-02-14T08:43:15
A hedgerow prominence gradually lifts off. You can see a sharp horizontal boundary moving up slowly.
