IRIS observes a small B1.6 flare during a coordinated observation with BBSO. The flare brightening coincides with material flow along chromospheric loops.

IRIS observed a B7.9 flare during a coordinated observation with SST. The flare is the brightest produced by AR 12712. A material flow seems to precede the flare. The viewing angle makes any ribbon identification difficult, but there appears to be two S shaped ribbons.

IRIS observes three B flares during a coordinated BBSO observation. The first and brightest flare contain two ribbons. The trailing ribbon has moderate c shape, while the leading ribbon has a stretched omega shape. Both openings point in the same direction. The second flare contains two c shaped ribbons pointing in opposite directions. Finally, the third flare contains a roughly circle trailing ribbon and a roughly straight leading ribbon.

IRIS observes an UV burst in AR 12712 during a coordinated observation with SST. During the burst, C II, Si IV, and Mg II lines show broad emission. In addition, both Mg II and C II lines show slightly redshift absorption in the line core.

IRIS observes a small B1.1 flare during a coordinated observation with SST. The spectroscopic slit covers the eruption and shows a few interesting features. Shortly preceding and during peak flux, the C I, Si IV, and Mg II lines show broad asymmetric blue shifted emission. Shortly after peak flux, the Mg II line, shows blue shifted absorption, which slowly evolves to red shifted absorption.
