2016-11-03T18:20:06 --> 2016-11-04T10:10:06
Eruption of a long South-North oriented filament. South and North ends of the filament seem to be close to newly emerging active regions, that presumably modified the corona around them and near the filament. This filament eruption is the source region of a slow CME (207km/sec) seen in LASCO http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20161104.081206.w037.v0207.p266&frame=19&r

2016-10-30T23:10:54 --> 2016-10-31T00:27:54
The initial stage of a slow CME seen in LASCO on 2016/10/31 00:24 (http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20161031.002406.w069.v0233.p286&frame=11&r). The source AR is behind the solar limb. Oscillations are seen in the ambient corona after the eruption.

2016-10-30T12:30:06 --> 2016-11-01T02:30:06
Flux emergence occurs in a region of predominantly negative flux (magnetogram is overlayed with red/negative flux and green/positive flux). A filament is seen to lengthen right by the positive polarity of this emerging active region.

2016-10-30T02:29:54 --> 2016-10-30T03:26:18
A mini-filament (small scale twisted structure with cool material in 304 channel; red color) erupts and reconnects with the ambient field, making a jet like surge in the corona (211 A; green color).

AR 12297 flare watch: C9 flare

2016-10-22T09:40:10 --> 2016-10-22T10:40:10
A small eruption started northeastward, but then deflected to northwest or nearly radial. The jet was produced ahead of the eruption, probably tracing the pre-exisiting open field lines.

2016-10-22T16:30:34 --> 2016-10-22T17:50:34
This occurred in the region immediately west of AR 12602. It showed dimming and oscillations. A CME was observed starting 17:24.

2016-11-05T03:00:06 --> 2016-11-05T07:00:06
Only the northern part of the filament is seen to erupt, but the main eruption should be in the plage region immediately northeast of AR 12605. The CME observed by LASCO assumes a complex shape, indicative of different magnetic structures. See a halocme tweet on this event: https://twitter.com/halocme/status/794782739987832832

2016-10-21T00:00:06 --> 2016-10-23T00:00:06
This two-day period coincides with the growth of AR 12603 from 10 msh to 30 msh. As more magnetic flux emerged and the two poles separated, many microflares occurred. However, major (only B-class) flares seem to have avoided this period.

2016-11-04T11:50:22 --> 2016-11-04T15:00:22
This eruption occurred in a plage region immediately east of AR 12605. The dimming region moved into the coronal hole to southeast.

2016-11-04T01:00:06 --> 2016-11-04T07:00:06
This filament lay in a quiescent region and erupted slowly without producing X-ray emitting high-temperature plasma.

2016-10-31T03:32:00 --> 2016-10-31T04:38:05
Elongated brightening is located at the footpoints of a wide surge.

2016-10-30T05:27:09 --> 2016-10-30T05:59:53
This observations shows flows, not so collimated taking off perpendicular to a elongated brightening.

2016-10-30T01:40:35 --> 2016-10-30T03:58:09
This feature has a strange topology which shows filament structures perpendicular to it in both directions.

2016-10-29T10:23:18 --> 2016-10-29T10:40:15
This observations is strongly influenced by being so close to the eclipse season.

2016-10-29T04:34:23 --> 2016-10-29T05:32:47
These explosive events show some Doppler shift but not very wide profiles. In addition, they do not reveal very strong absorption in CII.
