2016-04-09T18:26:02 --> 2016-04-09T22:53:16
NOAA SWPC event #9830: 18:40-Peak18:44-18:46 C1.5 flare and dark surge faint sub-flare in H-alpha. NOAA SWPC event #9850: 20:29-Peak20:34-20:43 C1.5 flare and faint sub-flare with several eruptive centers in H-alpha. NOAA SWPC event #9860 20:59-Peak21:01-21:04 flare with faint sub-flare in H-alpha and a minor type CTM (broadband, long-lived, dekametric continuum) radio burst. NOAA SWPC event #9890 22:50-Peak22:55-2305 C1.8 flare and faint sub-flare with several eruptive centers in H-alpha; type CTM radio burst was also reported.\nLong-dark ribbons are visible in AIA 304 that could be associated with coronal rain. These long, dark ribbons possibly cross the IRIS slit and may show up as absorption features in Mg II. Coronal rain is visible, just east of the slit in the 1330 SJI after some of the flares.

2016-04-09T12:05:13 --> 2016-04-09T12:21:09
This raster scan captures the initial phase of the NOAA SWPC event #9750, C2.8 flare. The flare was brightest in X-ray & EUV wavelengths. \n\nStart: Peak: End:\n12:15 13:42 14:44 UT.\n\nNOAA SWPC event #9710, sub-flare (H-alpha optical) with several eruptive centers and Sweep-frequency radio burst were also reported at AR 12529 during the scan period.

2016-04-07T06:41:57 --> 2016-04-07T07:02:59
Minor flare in AR 12528. This flare is not a NOAA, SWPC event.

2016-04-06T11:21:41 --> 2016-04-06T11:25:22
The event is small, bright, and visible in several IRIS spectral lines. The IRIS slit crosses the region at just the right time to catch the sudden heating of a small plasma blob that rains down across several loops. Coronal rain?
