2014-02-25T00:40:03 --> 2014-02-25T02:50:03
This pair of ribbons seem to brighten up following the eruption and flare near the east limb.

2014-02-25T00:40:03 --> 2014-02-25T01:50:03
A filament destabilizes and is quickly ejected out of the corona. Mid-eruption the filament looks like a bottle opener. Associated with the ejection of the filament is a global coronal wave and flare loops.

2014-02-17T08:50:23 --> 2014-02-17T11:00:23
Following the previous eruption, there are repeated ejections of concave structures from post-eruption loops, seen only in 171 A difference images. They may be wave trains.

2014-02-17T04:30:35 --> 2014-02-17T06:30:35
The prominence shows complicated structures at the but their legs as seen at later times seem to be simpler. This eruption occurred about 15 degrees behind the limb (according to STEREO observations).

2014-02-20T07:00:03 --> 2014-02-20T09:30:03
A large scale coronal wave associated with the M3 flare on the west limb.

2014-02-20T01:00:03 --> 2014-02-20T02:30:03
A surge with flare brightening at its footpoint.

2014-02-19T20:00:03 --> 2014-02-20T13:00:03
A small coronal cavity on the SE limb is rotating to the visible disk. It has a promience in its core. Although small in size, it has a decent contrast of a dark cavity seen in the 211 channel.

2014-02-19T20:00:03 --> 2014-02-20T13:00:03
A large filament erupted from the northern hemisphere. However, there is no clear signature of footpoint (two-ribbon) brightening generally expected from filament eruptions of such a size. The filament itself is very subtle to detect as well. If this evolves into a CME, it could be an example of stealth CME.

2014-02-19T23:30:03 --> 2014-02-21T04:00:03
Five surges from the same active region on the west limb within 24 hrs.

2014-02-17T02:30:35 --> 2014-02-17T04:00:35
The C6.6 flare/filament eruption is also accompanied by a large-scale coronal propagating front (LCPF). This provides a sharp contrast to the LCPF from the previous day (2014-02-16 09 UT), where the associated flare was compact and devoid of an obvious filament eruption.

2014-02-17T02:30:35 --> 2014-02-17T03:40:35
A good example of eruptive flare. The erupted filament, which turns to emission, defines the extension of the flare ribbons.

2014-02-19T14:00:03 --> 2014-02-19T19:00:03
A filament from a large U-shaped filament channel erupted, mainly in its northern half, with most of its southern half intact.There was a simultaneous surge from the active region at the end of the southern part of the filament channel - it might be a sympathetic eruption.

2014-02-16T11:50:23 --> 2014-02-16T13:50:23
EUVI-B images show a quite large eruption around N10 E120. We see a trace of the eruption in AIA images including dimming.

2014-02-18T14:00:03 --> 2014-02-19T16:00:03
A horizontal loop structure (yellow, 171) lifts off from the south pole, carrying with it some cool prominence material (red, 304 A). Most of the prominence mass falls back, and there is considerable dyanmiscs and side-way flows in the prominence.

2014-02-18T19:00:03 --> 2014-02-18T21:10:03
