2013-10-24T00:00:07 --> 2013-10-24T01:56:07
An AR on the southern hemisphere produces a large flare, associated with eruptions into the field towards the north and west. The eruption involve complex field dynamics around an X point between the flaring region and one towards the NE of it. Note that at the time of the flare/eruption there is an eruption over the E limb apparently synchronous, possibly sympathetic.

2013-10-20T03:30:03 --> 2013-10-20T07:28:03
A bundle of loops forms in 171A on the W limb. It rapidly expands and all of a sudden disappears. This is followed by rapid appearance of smaller bright loops at the same location.

2013-10-20T09:22:03 --> 2013-10-20T14:06:03
There are three consecutive visually similar eruptive events in the three regions within the selected box. The three regions appear to be connected by 211A loops. First, the eastmost region has a distinctive filament activity, which is followed by the eruption/dimming in the westmost region, and finally, kinking/dimming takes place in the central region.

2013-10-20T10:52:03 --> 2013-10-20T14:34:03
A flux rope visually kinks and a dark blob in 304A lifts off close to disk center. I am not sure if it later erupts or falls back to the surface, but if it erupts, it might be directed earthwards. This event is followed by some loop wiggling and brightening in the surrounding corona.

2013-10-20T07:50:03 --> 2013-10-20T11:20:03
A large-scale spray surge is followed by a coronal dimming in the connected region.

A transient dimming in the ethemeral region on the SE disk.

2013-10-19T11:38:03 --> 2013-10-19T22:40:03
A filament slowly takes off the northern part of the disk and lifts above the northern limb. It forms a rather impressive cloud-like prominence, with part of it perhaps arupting, but most of it simply rains back to the surface, but on the other side of the central meridian.

2013-10-18T20:12:03 --> 2013-10-18T23:51:03
Three structures on the limb erupt simultaneously, with three associated dimming events. There is a fair amount of space between them, but they appear to be related to the same active region.

An eruption of a large (extending to a good quarter of the disk) filament north-eastwards in the plane of sky.

2013-10-01T02:00:03 --> 2013-10-01T04:30:03
Some high altitude loops above the active region on the limb (at least in projection) appear to shrink rapidly. Could this be a signature of the Hudson (2000 ApJL) effect, i.e., implosion of coronal volume due to reduced magnetic pressure b/c of flare energy release?
