2013-05-09T22:00:03 --> 2013-05-10T03:00:03
Associated with a small flare is a filament activation that proceeds almost parallel to the limb.

2013-05-10T13:00:03 --> 2013-05-10T18:00:03
Nice example of the ejection of loops overlying an erupting active region

2013-05-13T23:30:39 --> 2013-05-14T01:59:27
3rd X-class flare, and the biggest one, within 24 hours. They, or rather, the associated CMEs, seem to show similar manifestations in the low corona.

2013-05-13T15:35:23 --> 2013-05-13T17:00:35
This event looks similar to the previous event associated with the X1.7 flare, as far as these quick-look movies are concerned.

2013-05-13T01:40:11 --> 2013-05-13T02:59:23
The propagation seems largely north-south. The region is slightly behind the east limb, but the fronts are hardly visible on disk. The southern trajectory may include fast quasi-periodic oscillations.

2013-05-13T15:35:23 --> 2013-05-13T16:59:23
Prominences that stick on the limb are seen to oscillate as the large-scale coronal propagating front from the X2.8 flare passes them.

2013-05-13T15:24:07 --> 2013-05-13T18:32:07
An X3 flare (with footpoints over the NE limb) exhibits a coronal propagating front very suggestive of being related to an eruption over the NW limb: possible sympathy.

2013-05-13T15:24:07 --> 2013-05-13T18:32:07

2013-05-07T05:00:03 --> 2013-05-07T14:00:03
We see two episodes of prominence eruptions. Although slow, the first episode already drives a CME first seen at 10:00 UT by LASCO. Interestingly the CME is seen to move soutward, although the AIA movie gives an impression that the eruption is slightly toward west.

2013-05-07T02:00:03 --> 2013-05-07T04:30:03
The flows from south to north may follow closed structures. They seem to have no impact on the background corona.

2013-05-06T13:00:35 --> 2013-05-06T14:30:35
An ejection from the western leg of the loop system is captured in this movie. It is followed by shallow dimming (and loop oscillations) underneath the loop structure.

2013-05-06T05:00:35 --> 2013-05-06T06:00:35
It appears that these flows are driven from the northern leg. This is a period such flows are easily caught.

2013-05-06T01:50:23 --> 2013-05-06T03:00:23
The source region may be just on the limb on the basis of how post-eruption loops look like.

2013-05-06T14:50:24 --> 2013-05-06T15:40:48
Sorry, a similar phenomenon one last time. This time the movie consists of 94 A, 335 A and 193 A channels. The 94 A data capture hot plasma in the associated C1.1 flare, while the 335 A data show a diffuse but bright propagating front passing the dimming region in 193 A.

2013-05-06T07:30:35 --> 2013-05-06T08:40:11
This serves as an example that small eruptions with similar patterns can occur repeatedly. I expected 304 A images add information on the filament eruption, but find it does not too much.

2013-05-06T01:00:03 --> 2013-05-06T02:00:03
This is similar to the small eruption seen around 5 May 2013 20 UT with large-scale dimming and possibly waves. It is easier in this event to find the filament eruption.

2013-05-05T19:30:35 --> 2013-05-05T20:10:11
A small eruption near the limb seems to disturbe the corona to the north. No CME is seen. Note repeated small jets west of the small eruption.

2013-05-05T06:50:23 --> 2013-05-05T12:01:11
This is a period in which an elevated jet-like activity is seen. Some of the jets may be labeled as small eruptions.

2013-05-05T07:20:23 --> 2013-05-05T08:01:11
This jet appears to be ejected slightly southward but to be turned slightly northward. However, there may be two episodes of ejection.

2013-05-05T04:30:35 --> 2013-05-05T05:30:35
This is just a small part of active region loops that seem to undergo dynamic motions. It has nothing to do with flare activity.
