2012-08-07T00:00:04 --> 2012-08-07T20:00:04
A series of at least seven explosions in a smallish AR, just inside the SE limb, send out perturbation fronts into the surroundings, causing high off-limb loops to oscillate, and with visible couplings to regions at least half a solar radius away.

2012-08-08T10:36:04 --> 2012-08-09T00:00:04

2012-08-07T23:48:04 --> 2012-08-08T04:08:04
Chromospheric material from a filament rains down and warms up to near-MK temperatures.

2012-08-07T20:20:04 --> 2012-08-08T13:28:04
A QS filament activates, and while it does not appear to erupt, there are clear signs of a post-eruption arcade (with moss-like expansion). Note a flux concentration to the NW which shows a fan deformation in the later stages of what appears to be an eruption. Also note the thermal changes (to ~1MK, blue) at the ends of the filament field where the material impacts the lower atmosphere).

2012-08-04T04:00:04 --> 2012-08-04T11:00:04
Not exactly sure what is going on here - it appears a fiilament is attempting to interact with another filament, but instead gets mostly repelled by the concomitant coronal cavity of the target filament. The end result is a nice spiraling or swirling motion of the plasma throughout the interaction phase.

2012-08-04T10:00:04 --> 2012-08-04T18:00:04
Activation of an overtly twisted filament, with lots of emission in the 171 channel of AIA and copious amounts of apparent [un?]braiding, but surprisingly little change in the before/after states of the filament as seen in the 304 channel.

2012-08-03T00:00:04 --> 2012-08-03T20:58:04
A particularly nice example of a filament (or perhaps just a long sheared arcade) at the interface between the diffuse postive and negative fluxes, with flows along some strands rendering them above or below other, opaque strands.

2012-08-03T02:28:04 --> 2012-08-03T04:28:04
Thin long spray surge on the E disk.

2012-08-02T00:00:04 --> 2012-08-02T08:12:04
Flows and opaque strands highlight 3D structure of this filament.

2012-08-02T09:22:04 --> 2012-08-02T13:44:04
A spray surge appears to start from underneath a filament. The surge appears to cause the dark blob of the filament wiggle around a little bit. There is a subsequent eruption on the limb, and given that the disturbed filament goes towards the limb, it is not impossible that the eruption happened on its other end.

2012-07-31T07:50:04 --> 2012-07-31T11:10:04

2012-07-28T20:00:04 --> 2012-07-28T21:20:04
A small-scale eruption/flare triggers an EUV wave from an active region near the SW limb. This wave appears to perturb a slowly rising prominence nearby during its eruption. It is not clear whether this flare/EUV wave actually triggers the prominence eruption - but there is a timing coincidence between the two eruptions.

2012-07-29T00:10:04 --> 2012-07-29T04:00:04
A surge from an active region on the southern hemisphere erupts and is channeled by a transequatorial loop system of sigmoid shape to land on the northern hemisphere.

2012-07-28T20:00:04 --> 2012-07-29T02:05:04
A prominence erupts on the SW limb displaying rolling motions. During its slow rise phase, there is a flare/CME eruption in the nearby active region (~20:50) that shakes the prominence.
