2012-01-23T00:00:04 --> 2012-01-23T06:00:04
This movie contains two episodes of eruptions producing two halo CMEs. The first one is less noticeable, until 02:30 or so, showing opening up of large-scale structures. The second event involves the eruption of a clear filament, whose activation already started during the first episode. The halo CME from the second event is more northward and much faster, overtaking the second one by 04:12 UT.

2012-01-22T21:00:36 --> 2012-01-23T00:00:36
Again, the movie shows downflows more than the eruption. But this is associated with a slow CME observed by LASCO.

2012-01-22T13:40:12 --> 2012-01-22T16:40:12
The movie gives an impression that the filament material just comes back to the Sun, but some of it may have escaped into the heliosphere. The surrounding large-scale loops at 193 A and 171 A seem to be largely unaffected.

2012-01-22T13:40:12 --> 2012-01-22T14:40:12
This may be just one of many similar jets in polar regions.

2012-01-22T12:20:24 --> 2012-01-22T14:00:24
There are two locations that show upward, then downward motions nearly simultaneously. They may be classified in a better way than coronal jets.

2012-01-22T08:00:04 --> 2012-01-22T11:00:04
A non-eruptive flare appears to trigger an eruptive one to the east. No clear filament is seen in the eruption, which is mostly horizontal, toward east.

2012-01-22T07:30:00 --> 2012-01-22T10:00:00
This eruption is hardly seen in 304 A images.

2012-01-22T02:15:00 --> 2012-01-22T06:15:00
These motions are most readily seen at 304 A, with the large-scale structures in 211 A and 171 A hardly affected. This results in a slow CME that contains a flux rope.

2012-01-25T11:18:04 --> 2012-01-25T13:34:04
Small prominence eruption on the SW limb is followed by an appearance of a sigmoid-like structure which possibly erupts as well.

2012-01-22T01:30:00 --> 2012-01-22T04:00:00
Eruption (primarily westward) and dimming are seen only at 211 A in the 304-211-171 A combo movie, although the flare brightening is most striking at 304 A.

2012-01-22T02:30:00 --> 2012-01-22T03:32:00
This eruption seems to be so minor that the surrounding large-scale structures are hardly disturbed.

2012-01-21T18:00:04 --> 2012-01-22T03:30:04
The motions appear to intensify during this period, although the filament itself does not erupt.

2012-01-17T20:00:04 --> 2012-01-18T05:00:04
This is the same cavity noted on 15-Jan-2012 but with a better line of sight and with a much brighter central "chewy nougat" emission region. The associated quiescent prominence is quite dynamic in the 304 channel. 171 structure is weak however and does not show typical "horn" protrusions into the cavity.

2011-10-22T09:50:04 --> 2011-10-22T12:20:04
Large eruption (detailed view) on the west limb, opening up the entire flux rope (cavity).

2011-10-22T00:40:04 --> 2011-10-22T12:40:04
Large flux rope on the west limb eruped, acommpanied by a large surge toward the south and large post-flare loops, following an earlier filament eruption on the disk producing beautiful two-ribbon flare.

2011-10-20T07:20:04 --> 2011-10-20T10:20:04
Sympathetic brightening/surges in the AR and its neighborhood near the east limb.

2011-10-20T03:00:04 --> 2011-10-20T04:40:04
Large eruption on west limb w/ surge, opening up the local corona, pushing the ambient corona aside.

2011-10-21T06:00:04 --> 2011-10-21T08:35:04
A large eruption on the west limb, likely behind the limb, preceded by a small filament eruption in the AR on the disk nearby.
