2011-12-03T10:26:04 --> 2011-12-03T13:14:04
A beautiful prominence eruption in AR on the W limb, in the same site as the previous day's eruption took place. Spiral structures moving upwards (unspinning?) can be seen in this prominence.

2011-12-02T04:46:24 --> 2011-12-02T21:08:24
A thin long vertical prominence somewhat resembling Eiffel Tower slowly takes off on the limb; the remnants flow down towards its footpoint on the visible disk.

2011-12-07T19:30:04 --> 2011-12-07T21:00:04
Eruption from AR rotating around East limb produces nice 304 "flames" and large oscillations of long loops visible to the South in 171 channel.

2011-12-07T04:12:04 --> 2011-12-08T00:00:04
Very complex coronal rain event seen above AR rotating around SE limb.

2011-12-07T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T19:30:04
Filament at low-latitude coming around the East limb. The filament is very dark in 304, even above the limb where it would usually be expected to be in emission.

2011-12-07T06:06:04 --> 2011-12-07T13:54:04
Small two-ribbon flare in un-numbered AR in Southern hemisphere (below AR 11367). Third ribbon arcs from flare region all the way around the AR to the East.

2011-12-07T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T20:00:04
Large elliptical cavity on NE limb with very tall associated quiescent prominence. The prominence shows evidence of a bubble formation due to a compact loop system visible in 211 and 171 channels (see separate event registered as "other").

2011-12-07T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T20:00:04
Apparent prominence bubble seen as bright 211/171 loop structure rising into 304 prominence at NE limb. Loops appear identical to other nearby polar region "xray bright point" loop systems which are due to flux cancellation. Does this imply flux cancellation is the cause of the bright loops and RT unstable bubble?

2011-12-06T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-06T09:48:04
Southern side of AR at Western limb. Coronal rain visible in 304 condenses from inflection region of loops visible in 171.

2011-12-06T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T00:00:04
Same location at 05-Dec-11 event. This event shows more 304 condensation and rapid drainage along loop legs.

2011-12-05T05:36:04 --> 2011-12-05T11:12:04
Moderate eruption from SE side of AR 11366. Filament material ejection visible on NE leg of erupting loop structure.

2011-12-05T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-06T00:00:04
Moderately large QP on NE limb. 304 channel shows many flows including the usual hint of rotation of the "stalks" of the prominence.

2011-12-05T05:06:04 --> 2011-12-05T22:36:04
Coronal rain from cusped loops visible in AIA 171.

2011-12-05T07:06:04 --> 2011-12-05T09:12:04
Small flare in AR 11368

2011-03-10T02:50:16 --> 2011-03-10T03:14:52
This flare is hardly at the A5 level, but its flux at 17 GHz (Nobeyama) is 210 sfu. See SH41A-1912 at AGU 2011 Fall meeting. STEREO images suggest no major flaring behind the west limb.

2011-11-03T22:20:24 --> 2011-11-03T22:40:12
According to EUVI/STB images, the source region was 60-70 degrees behind the east limb. It is easier to see the eruption at 193 A and 211 A than at 171 A. This preceded another eruption (already reported), which was closer to the limb.

2011-11-14T09:00:05 --> 2011-11-14T09:59:29
At first sight, the diffuse loop-like eruption (best seen at 193 A in this movie) appeared to be from the backside. However, as one looks at data more, it seems that was a front-side event associated with a C5.2 flare at AR 11348. Note loop oscillations to northeast of the flare only around the time of the eruption.
