Description: A halo CME was observed by LASCO associated with this eruptive M2.7 flare with a potential of geomagnetic impact. The eruption was preceded by the appearance of an S-shaped loop in 131 A channel but by only a minute or two, so the existence of pre-eruption hot flux rope may be not clear in this event. The later flare ribbon traversed the preceding polarity sunspot. A coronal wave, not very strong, accompanied the eruption, possibly being responsible for sympathetic eruptions in the NE direction.
