Description: IRIS observes a GOES class M1.5 flare, which is visible in 1330, 1400, and 2796 . The flare originates in two ribbons near the image's center. After formation, the ribbons move away from each other and decrease in intensity. The top ribbon stalls over a coronal hole and leaves behind a heated filament.
