Description: The northeastern part of AR 12824, a plage region, erupted first, resulting in a GOES C1.0 or C1.2 flare (depending on where to put the end time). Then a more localized C7.6 flare occurred in the southern part, producing EUV waves. It is not clear whether the first event triggered the second.
