Description: The filament activation's visibility is function of wavelength. At 1400 A the event produces a bright s-like pattern, which evolves into a high intensity blob. During the activation's peak extent, the activation's edge crosses the slit. However, at 2796 A the activation is only visible as a blob in a small portion 1400 A's active region during peak intensity. The 2796 A emission does not cross the slit. The filament activation is not visible at 2832 A.
