Description: IRIS observes a GOES X1.6 in AR 12192, which was the largest AR since November 1990. The flare originates from three separate ribbons. The two ribbons near the coronal hole quickly become one ribbon (~2 frames). The combined ribbon spreads out, capping most of coronal hole. As the two remaining ribbons subside, material flows between the two regions. During the flare, the Fe XXI shows broad line emission. In addition, strong lines like, Mg II h&k and Si IV, show red asymmetries.
