Science Goal: [SOOP: Major Flare] High Cadence Solar Flare Obs
Program: Normal map 14"x40", repeats
Target: Active Region
xcen=679 ycen=-54
Instrument: SOTSP
HOP/JOP: 521
Description: request to SOT Please scan the target region using a repeating normal-map program that is 40" (or 60", if feasible) tall and contains 90 slit positions (width of ~15"). Program SP 0x26c mostly satisfies these parameters, but this program may be modified if needed. The program should ideally be run with a total duration of at least 3 hours, or longer, as telemetry allows. Note too that EIS may request some of SOT's usual telemetry allocation, as this HOP is telemetry-intensive for EIS.
