A filament erupted in what looked like a high-latitude region. But based on the post-eruption ribbon emission, it was more like N35 and may not have been qualified as a polar-crown filament eruption.

This eruption is seen almost exclusively in 171 A (except some signatures at lower altitudes in 304 A) images, suggesting that it consists mostly of 0.5-1 MK plasma. A not-well-organized CME was seen.

Prominence activity in 304 A was seen prior to the slow eruption of a flux rope-like structure seen in 211 A images. It is not clear whether the two phenomena were related.

This event occurred probably far behind-the-limb, behind-the-limb even from STEREO-A perspective - so there is no information on the location. It was accompanied by a coronal wave.
