2017-05-18T02:20:09 --> 2017-05-18T08:00:09
A small explosive event in the quiet Sun was observed near the east limb, with synchronous activitiy seen near the north polar coronal hole.

2017-05-18T15:26:21 --> 2017-05-18T17:20:58
A new magnetic flux is observed to emerge inside of AR 12657. Bright features visible in the flux emerging region is most likely caused by reconnection of the preexisting with the newly appeared magnetic fields. The slit does not cross the flux emerging event.

2017-05-16T18:01:07 --> 2017-05-16T18:20:00
A low B-class flare inside AR 12657. The flare occurs exactly under the slit.

2017-05-15T14:29:43 --> 2017-05-15T18:40:31
Microflaring is seen in rasters at the footpoints of E-W oriented loops in AR 12657.

2017-05-15T08:50:10 --> 2017-05-15T09:16:59
Small failed eruption in new region AR 12656. After the event there is also some nearby microflaring.

2017-05-13T19:50:44 --> 2017-05-13T20:03:33
A cute little macrospicule that missed the slit.

2017-05-12T07:59:48 --> 2017-05-12T13:53:21
SST was looking for solar tornadoes, but targeting a day ahead was difficult. The IRIS slit missed this one.

2017-05-04T00:00:09 --> 2017-05-05T13:00:09
Although there were magnetic field concentrations, the sunspot was recognized only on 5 May 2017. Since then several B-class flares were produced. It appears that there was an eruption on 5 May 2017, between 08:30 and 10:30, woth notable dimming in 171 A, but no CME was associated.

2017-05-01T15:00:09 --> 2017-05-03T04:00:09
A rapid growth started early on 2 May 2017 due to the new flux to the south of the original bipole. This region did not produce major (e.g. >C1) flares or CMEs.

2017-05-05T22:30:01 --> 2017-05-05T23:30:01
This flare may be called eruptive by some, because a large area to the north seems to have been impacted. But there is no way it was associated with a CME even in the limb view. There may have been disturbances due to MHD waves but it seems that no flux rope was involved, hence no CME.
