2017-03-27T10:50:25 --> 2017-03-27T13:00:25
This flare occurred in a newly emerging region AR 12645. The eruption coincided with the flare impulsive phase, and the movie captures both the erupting flux rope and driven front. The corona above the AR was temporarily dimmed. The associated CME is http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20170327.121207.w047.v0180.p090&frame=19&r.

2017-03-26T21:35:25 --> 2017-03-26T22:25:25
This probably came from slightly behind the limb, not affecting a nice thin structure (current sheet?) in the foreground.

2017-03-25T06:30:01 --> 2017-03-25T12:00:01
This can easily escape detection, since it is slow and diffuse. It is seen only in 304 A images. Such an eruption may not be related to a CME.

2017-03-25T03:30:01 --> 2017-03-25T05:00:01
The eruption was mostly in the southwest direction (in image plane) and we see some mild effects there (dimming, chromospheric brightening, etc.)

2017-03-24T16:30:01 --> 2017-03-24T18:30:01
The source region was slightly behind the limb. In difference images in 211 A and 193 A, the front is seen ahead of the prominence. Indeed this eruption was associated with a CME (http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20170324.174809.w030.v0340.p098&frame=14&r).

2017-03-24T15:30:01 --> 2017-03-24T16:56:01
The initial stage of the eruption looked like containing a flux rope, but then a jet-like appearance took over.

2017-03-24T02:10:13 --> 2017-03-24T02:46:13
Jets of this size are not frequently seen in this particular coronal hole. This jet appears to coincide with the appearance of a magnetic element of parasitic polarity.

2017-03-23T21:50:25 --> 2017-03-23T23:00:25
This occurred in a quiescent region. The filament was in inverse-S, following the hemispheric rule, and gave an impression that it erupted untwisted seen as a counterclockwise rotation.

2017-03-22T16:40:13 --> 2017-03-22T19:40:13
There was a minor eruption in AR 12643. The movie gives an impression that it started when the disturbances from a larger-scale filament eruption (in a NW region) hit the region. This eruption appears to be associated with a narrow CME (http://spaceweather.gmu.edu/seeds/mkmovie.php?cme=20170322.182407.w027.v0282.p073&frame=15&r).

2017-03-22T08:30:01 --> 2017-03-22T10:30:01
A jet-like eruption was followed by a flux-rope-like eruption in AR 12643. The second event accompanied a slow and diffuse global wave to south.

2017-03-14T05:40:44 --> 2017-03-14T07:55:12
A prominence on the NW limb exhibited some wavy motions, suggestive of the presence of Alfvenic waves (similar to the Hinode detection of Alfven waves in prominences by Okamoto et al. 2007)

2017-03-19T07:30:09 --> 2017-03-20T00:10:09
A filament structure (seen as blue-ish dark material) becomes unstable and lifts, pushing coronal magnetic field aside and forming a "CME bubble" (dark cavity), the initial counterpart of a CME in the low corona.

2017-03-16T19:50:09 --> 2017-03-18T00:00:09
A transequatorial coronal hole in the E hemisphere of the sun. Coronal holes are areas of decreased plasma emission above areas of unipolar magnetic field (consider as one of the sources of solar wind)

2017-02-25T21:55:51 --> 2017-02-25T22:16:53
A small B-class flare is observed in AR 12628, with very clear flare ribbons.

2017-02-24T16:44:44 --> 2017-02-24T16:56:56
A jet is observed in AR 12638. The very first moments of the jet are observed by the spectrometer, but the majority of the event is missed.

2017-03-14T00:00:09 --> 2017-03-15T20:10:09
A small bipole that emerged in an area of Quiet Sun. Interesting connectivity between this bipole and some pre-existing decaying bipole nearby.

2017-03-10T00:00:09 --> 2017-03-10T13:25:09
A filament erupted near the west limb. Part of the filament erupted and the rest of the filamnet material went down.

2017-03-08T17:30:09 --> 2017-03-10T00:00:09
A formation of filament was observed near the west limb. Filament showed many activities during the process.
