This small ribbon brightening was not associated with a flare in the NOAA/GOES flare database. However, after the ribbon brightening, the overlying material also brightens along arching magnetic field lines.

Both 1330 A and 2796 A show emission from a surge event, but the 1330 A intensity shows a higher emission contrast than 2796 A. However, 2796 A displays a ribbon of faint absorption preceding the surge, which the surge follows.

IRIS captures multiple brightening events in 1400 A and 2796 A. Starting at 11:23:47.930 the brightening area shows an outward material flow in 1400 A, which ends at 11:43:01.050. However, 2796 A does not observe the material flow. After the material flow ends, the brightening events are lower in intensity than the preceding brightening events in both 1400 A and 2796 A.

Filament eruption observed in 1330, 1400, and 2796 A. The activation starts simultaneously at two locations near the filament's base. Then the activation brakes up into three small streams.

Explosive event occurs between two coronal holes. Both 1330 A and 1400 A show two ribbon structures during the event, while the event barely contrasts with the background at 2796 A. The emission in 2796 A does not cross the slit, however, the event does cross the slit in both 1330 A and 1400 A. 2832 A does not observe the event.

A slowly building helix shaped explosive event crosses over a sunspot. After peak intensity, the explosive event quickly fades away. The event is visible in 1400 A but not in 2796 A.

Two ribbons can be clearly seen in this C2.8 flare. There also appears to be material ejected from the eastern edge of the eruption. However, the FOV is not large enough to see whether the material leaves or falls back down.

This small but complex B4.6 flare occurs in the center of this movie, to the southwest of the main sunspot. The bright region appears twisted. The same region again brightens at the end of this movie, but cuts off before the second brightening is complete.

The GOES classified X 1.6 Flare encompasses most of the image and is visible in both 1400 A and 2796 A. The flares starts with two separate ribbons (one in the center and another in the top right), which presumably connect off the image during peak intensity. The central ribbon crosses the slit soon after formation and remains on the slit for the rest of the observation.

The filament activation's visibility is function of wavelength. At 1400 A the event produces a bright s-like pattern, which evolves into a high intensity blob. During the activation's peak extent, the activation's edge crosses the slit. However, at 2796 A the activation is only visible as a blob in a small portion 1400 A's active region during peak intensity. The 2796 A emission does not cross the slit. The filament activation is not visible at 2832 A.

A strong coronal jet twice originates during eruptions. The jet emits in 1330 A, while in 2796 A the jet is visible in absorption. The slit does not cross the jet, however, the slit does cross the eruptions.
