2013-08-30T08:05:03 --> 2013-08-30T16:00:03
A jet like event to the West occurs in a quiet region. This is followed by a surge or activation of filament material in the AR to the East. Perhaps the events are connected?

2013-08-29T22:00:04 --> 2013-08-30T04:00:04
NOAA region 11836 exhibited a thin sigmodal feature in X-ray images and produced a number of B-class flares. Here we see that a thin filament was co spatial with the sigmoid. The material flows down to the foot points and destabilises the region which then produces a C8 class flare. Will another sigmoidal filament form in its place? The photospheric fields have not changed significantly.

2013-08-29T06:15:03 --> 2013-08-29T16:15:03
1. A double pronged surge occurs (very similar to SOL2013-08-28T01:05:03L138C106 which occured in the same region. 2. This is followed by a filament activation whithin the same region, but slightly to the south. 3. Another double pronged surge occurs nearly the same as (1) 4. a blast of filament material is flung southward The surges appear to be homologous events, as they all occur in the same region and have the same morphology.

2013-08-29T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-29T10:00:03
A long filament spanning >45 degrees in the southern henisphere slowly erupts. Afterward, a dim front of reconnecting field expands from the filament channel, similar in morphology to a flare ribbon.

2013-08-28T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-28T08:10:03
A kinked loop structure off of the SE limb appears to partially lift-off and straighten out.

2013-08-28T12:00:03 --> 2013-08-28T18:50:03
In response to a filament eruption ( SOL2013-08-28T13:20:03L322C135 ), radially oriented material is flung Westward actoss the S-limb, and then sways back to the East once more. Perhaps STEREO A and B EUVI 304 movies can shed some light on this...

2013-08-28T13:20:03 --> 2013-08-28T17:20:03
A faint eruption of filament material is observed to propagate radially off of the SE limb.

2013-08-28T12:25:03 --> 2013-08-28T21:10:03
A large arc of filament material slowly lifts off from the W limb. The eruption appears diffuse, as there was not much visible filament material on the surface to begin with. Could this be related to the 'phantom CME'?

2013-08-28T01:05:03 --> 2013-08-28T07:25:03
A brightening along a N-S filament occurs, followed by a large rapid surge of material from the filament oriented N, but then curving W and then slightly S as the surge progresses.

2013-08-28T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-28T14:00:03
A graceful prominence lift-off. On the previous day, the prominence exhibited a change in loop configuration ( SOL2013-08-27T02:40:03L138C026 ). This may have destabilised the prominence which has slowly lifted off, leaving a radial evacuated region in its wake. The top of the eruption appears to be threaded by U-loops, whiich become transversally compressed into V loops. A strange trail of prominence material follows the main structure like the tentacles of a squid as the creature swims away.

2013-08-27T00:05:03 --> 2013-08-27T07:50:03
An arc of filament material suddenly surges around the eastern boundary of NOAA 11834.

2013-08-27T02:40:03 --> 2013-08-27T10:10:03
A prominence observed off of the N-W limb undergoes interesting dynamics due to changes in its magnetic field skeleton. Perhaps an underlying supergranule as emerged and changed the photospheric footprint configuration?

2013-08-27T06:45:03 --> 2013-08-27T21:35:03
Filament material off the West limb rapidly reconfigures and appears to flow downward toward the surface. This is followed by a large rapid, radially directed eruption of filament material.

2013-08-21T01:04:03 --> 2013-08-21T03:20:03
A small dimming develops nearly at the dick center. Note the asspcoated minor eruptive activity and simultaneously appearing footpoint brightening slightly to the SW of the ROI.

2013-08-21T00:16:03 --> 2013-08-21T03:20:03
A thin filament erupts on the W disk/limb. As it reaches to certain height, an associated erupting cavity can also be visible.

2013-08-17T16:00:03 --> 2013-08-18T00:00:03
An M3 flare occurs in AR11818, a filament lifts off, post-flare loops appear, and much of the region between AR11818 and 11819 is evacuated and becomes dark. This flare is associated with a CME that can be seen in, e.g., LASCO coronagraph images.
