2013-08-17T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-17T16:00:03

2013-08-20T03:44:03 --> 2013-08-20T12:44:03
An AR at the W limb erupts (with some oscillatory motions high in the corona), upon which a long quiet-Sun (near polar-crown) filament erupts on the S hemisphere. The timing is suggestive of a sympathetic set of events, but direct evidence is not obvious.

2013-08-15T21:00:03 --> 2013-08-16T01:00:03
Relatively localized C flare associated with ARs 11814 and 11817. Flare ribbons appear in the weaker flux to the west of the younger AR 11817.

2013-08-18T19:44:03 --> 2013-08-18T22:36:03
A high coronal - over the W limb - eruption is followed by the eruption of an adjacent filament (with a propagating front) and the beginnings of a filament activation trailing into QS.

2013-08-18T13:40:03 --> 2013-08-18T16:52:03
Filament eruption for a region nearing the SW limb, associated with a high coronal disturbance.

2013-08-14T18:30:35 --> 2013-08-14T23:30:35
The presence of the filament is noted in all of the 304, 211 and 171 A channels. Eruption of such a filament indeed results in a decent three-part CME in LASCO data.

2013-08-14T17:00:07 --> 2013-08-14T18:30:07
This movie is supposed to show two jet-like ejections, one of which is more clearly seen in difference images.

2013-08-14T08:00:03 --> 2013-08-14T11:00:03
This eruption is seen across active regions. No CME is observed.

2013-08-14T05:00:03 --> 2013-08-14T08:00:03
Following gradual outword motions, the small prominence seems to erupt. But is has negligible effect on the surrounding corona, and no CME is observed by LASCO.

2013-08-13T17:30:35 --> 2013-08-13T20:06:35
Even though the filament may appear to fall down, these motions also involve upward motions as seen over the limb.

2013-08-13T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-13T12:00:03
This period shows an elevated level of downflows in a 304 A prominence.

2013-08-12T19:40:11 --> 2013-08-12T21:10:11
The filament looks like a linear structure in 211 A images before eruption. It becomes an arc as it erupts, seen only in 304 A images, with brightening at the footprints. The surrounding structures, especially those in the west, are pushed sideways.

2013-08-12T15:40:11 --> 2013-08-12T16:40:11
This jet should be far from being radial, or perhaps largely horizontal. Part of the filament on its way is seen to be pushed sideways. Another narrow ejection to the south of the jet, seen only in 304 A over the limb, seems to be not related.

2013-08-12T09:00:03 --> 2013-08-12T09:40:03
This appears bright in all of the 304 A, 211 A and 171 A channels. Much of the trajectory seems to trace closed field lines.

2013-08-12T03:00:03 --> 2013-08-12T04:00:03
The ejection appears bright in 304 A images, and dark in 211 A and 171 A images. The impact on overlying structure seems to be negligible. In fact, most of the ejected material is seen to fall back fairly quicly.

2013-08-12T10:20:24 --> 2013-08-12T12:10:24
The eruption associated with a M1.5 flare also accompanies a large-scale coronal propagating front (LCPF), often referred to as an EIT or EUV wave. The central part is seen even in 94 and 335 images. Further processing of these images will bring the LCPF more clearly.

2013-08-11T00:00:03 --> 2013-08-12T00:00:03
Emergence of a small concentration of magnetic flux. 171A shows rapidly changing loops. At some point along the emergence there is a C-class flare and an associated coronal wave.
