2012-12-06T11:30:03 --> 2012-12-06T15:00:03
While there is no indication of a filament lifting off, there is a surge which precedes the rise of this low emission bubble through the corona. The passage of the bubble triggers transverse oscillations in the ambient, diffuse corona.

2012-12-06T08:30:03 --> 2012-12-06T10:00:03
The radially directed surge in this event seems to be wrapped around by an untwisting ribbon of filamentary material. Transverse oscillations can be discerned as the surge material starts to fall.

2012-12-05T22:30:03 --> 2012-12-06T03:30:03
This filament eruption from near the northern pole occured when another filament eruption in the southern hemisphere took place.

2012-12-05T22:30:03 --> 2012-12-06T03:30:03
This filament eruption from the southern hemisphere occured when another filament eruption also occured near the north pole.

2012-12-05T13:30:03 --> 2012-12-05T16:00:03
The motion of coronal loops suggests that the expulsion of some material occured (possibly a CME).

2012-12-05T05:00:03 --> 2012-12-05T07:30:03
In this event, filament material is injected into one footpoint of (a set of) loop(s) and sent traveling to the other footpoint. At the same time, one can see a faint bubble of coronal emission rising in the higher corona.

2012-12-04T04:00:03 --> 2012-12-04T11:00:03
A filament straddling the horizon of the southeast limb erupts. The morphology of the erupting filament resembles an untwisting ribbon.

2012-12-03T12:00:03 --> 2012-12-03T15:00:03
This odd shaped surge results from the reconfiguration of an existing filament. The impulsive reconfiguration seems to channel filament material into curved magnetic field lines before the material drains back down due to gravity.

2012-12-04T23:30:03 --> 2012-12-05T03:30:03
The apparent rotation of this filament suggests that the helical kink instability may be (partially or fully) responsible for this eruption. Before the onset of the eruption, the coronal loops are shown to wrap around a dome which has reduced emission. There appears to be a "null point" at the top of this dome. When the eruption begins, the loops around the alleged null point seem to open up to let a magnetic bubble escape.

2012-11-29T09:59:27 --> 2012-11-29T13:59:27
AIA has captured nicely a small filament associated with AR11623 lifting off. During the liftoff process there is a bit of a pause as the magnetic field off to the side is reconfigured apparently. After the pause, the liftoff continues.

2012-11-28T18:00:03 --> 2012-11-28T23:00:03
Nice example of an apparent untwisting of filament at the west limb. Unforutnately, AIA's field of view does not extend far enough off the limb to capture the full event.

2012-11-29T17:00:03 --> 2012-11-29T21:00:03
Polar crown filament becomes activated from behind the south pole. It's unclear if any material is ejected.

2012-12-01T22:21:03 --> 2012-12-02T00:00:03
A small spray surge ejects dark dense matter... to a nearby active region, what clearly shows on 211A. Note how little is the surge and how large is the disturbance front on the other end of the trajectory.

2012-11-29T17:36:03 --> 2012-11-29T20:33:03
A large filament eruption on the limb very close to the S pole.

2012-11-29T11:12:03 --> 2012-11-29T13:15:03
Eruption of small filament in an AR near the E disk. The top of the erupting structure is kinked so the entire flux rope appears to have a "figure 8" shape in the plane of the sky.
