2012-06-10T11:40:04 --> 2012-06-10T17:45:04
A large filament eruption, easily seen in 304A with little to none in 171A and 211A. Running difference movie is suggestive of that it could have originated from behind the limb.

2012-06-09T00:00:04 --> 2012-06-09T10:05:04
A dimming develops in the quiet sun, along with lop brightening of a similar shape to the South of the dimming. It slowly propagates Northwards and dsappears, which is followed by a small-scale rapid brightening in the disappearance site.

2012-06-09T09:00:04 --> 2012-06-09T13:55:04
An M-class flare triggers filament eruption on the E limb. Note the seconary filament eruption to the N of the first one, in the quiet sun region.

2012-06-18T12:00:04 --> 2012-06-19T00:00:04
Coronal cavity associated with north polar crown filament

2012-06-08T10:48:04 --> 2012-06-08T14:34:04
This loop bundle is a bit unusually bright for a quiet Sun region is it on. It persists for over 4 hours, rooting at small patches of diffuse field.

2012-06-08T06:50:04 --> 2012-06-08T09:22:04
A small anemone-like structure erupts in the N hemisphere; the disturbance visually propagetes southwards and converges down to another region in the S hemisphere. The latter (highlighted on the snapshot) responds in a minor eruption as well. The time between the two eruptions is about 80 minutes and the distance is (visually) about half solar radius.

2012-06-08T02:56:04 --> 2012-06-08T03:46:04
A cavity eruption on the disk, most evident on a running difference movie in 211A (top right).

2012-06-08T21:06:04 --> 2012-06-09T00:00:04
This is a running difference movie of the previously annotated event: eruption of a large filament. Note that the "swirl" at the surfact in the beginning of the movie actually erupts prior to the main eruption; e.g., on 22:34 the 304A (top left) and 171A (bottom left) running difference movies show footpoint and the loop top of the erupting structure respectively.

2012-06-08T21:06:04 --> 2012-06-09T00:00:04
A bright thick filament erupts at the SW limb; one of its top segments is not emitting in 304A, making it somewhat resemble a "?" symbol.

2012-06-08T17:34:04 --> 2012-06-08T19:28:04
An eruption on the SE limb. Note the isolated bright feature which lifts off prior to the main filament.

2012-06-08T13:40:04 --> 2012-06-08T18:02:04
Remarkably ordinary filament eruption.

2012-06-08T05:58:04 --> 2012-06-08T18:22:04
A serpent-like filament, with thin "body" and large "head", slowly lifts up and it suddenly accelerates as it reaches the boundary of the highlighted region.

2012-06-08T00:00:04 --> 2012-06-08T04:48:04
Large faint filament eruption on the N disk.

2012-06-05T19:00:04 --> 2012-06-05T21:00:04
Although the associated flaring hardly reaches the GOES C-level, this eruption causes a fast CME as observed by STEREO. We can trace the CME at least into the HI-1 field of view.

2012-06-05T15:00:04 --> 2012-06-05T17:00:04
This is a nice prominence eruption as seen in 304 A channel. It is interesting to note that the surrounding corona at 0.8-1.6 MK is barely affected by this eruption. The source region is likely to be behind the limb.

2012-06-05T07:30:36 --> 2012-06-05T09:00:36
The C1.1 flare in AR 11494 is associated with a minor coronal wave, which seems to have a common origin to the oscillations of loops between AR 11494 and 11497.

2012-06-17T04:00:04 --> 2012-06-17T13:00:04

2012-06-17T18:00:04 --> 2012-06-18T00:00:04
Liftoff of prominent filament from southeast limb, filament shows an interesting circular shape on liftoff as it [un?]twists
