2012-06-13T11:44:04 --> 2012-06-13T14:48:04
Interesting evolution of flare ribbons.

2012-06-13T06:40:04 --> 2012-06-13T19:16:04
A set of field reconfigurations in a complex of ARs precedes a flare+eruption from the trailing region, with opening stretched field followed by ribbons and cooling post-flare loops.

2012-06-12T11:32:04 --> 2012-06-12T23:56:04
A smallish AR in the SE erupts, a neighboring trailing filament erupts with it, and a chain of field evolutions occur in conjuction with that over much of the visible southern hemisphere.

Limb eruption

Large QS filament, forming a nearly-closed ring

2012-06-11T15:00:04 --> 2012-06-11T22:48:04
Prominence eruption over SE limb

2012-06-02T13:50:04 --> 2012-06-02T23:55:04
A peculiar structure in 171A, probably a projection artefact. It looks like a narrow bright band separating bright loop fan (at the top) and darker area (at the bottom). Peculiar thing is how horizontal this band is (meaning, parallel to the limb).

2012-06-03T16:40:04 --> 2012-06-03T20:30:04
An unusually short-lasting M-class flare results in a massive eruptive event. Note the brightening front towards the NE limb - it doesn't just follow the path of the filament, but is rather an arch-like front. Running difference movies reveal another brightening which runs E-wards along the trajectory of a loop bundle whose footpoints were near the flare site.

2012-06-02T12:00:04 --> 2012-06-03T02:55:04
A filament eruption very close to the N pole. The 304A blob takes almost 12 hrs to raise upwards a little, and then it literally "slips" away in less than an hour.

2012-06-02T03:15:04 --> 2012-06-02T08:55:04
A coronal hole (see 211A, top right) with mostly positive sign of magnetic field (see HMI magnetogram) has a particularly clear signature in 171A (bottom left): this is the area where structures in 171A appear "blurred" compared to the rest of the quiet sun (that is, the dominating features are loop fans).

2012-06-02T03:15:04 --> 2012-06-02T08:55:04
An ethemeral brightening in the diffuse field suddenly brightens up along its bundaries in a manner suggestive of an eruption and a post-eruption loop brightening. No eruption, however, is easily seen.

2012-05-23T17:00:04 --> 2012-05-23T20:00:04
Successive erupting loops and subsequent dimming suggest that this eruption becomes a CME, which is indeed observed by LASCO. But the cavity /flux rope over the limb is indifferent to this evenrt.

2012-05-23T22:30:00 --> 2012-05-24T01:00:00
The small eruption around 00:30 UT seems to be preceded by a brightening at lower altitudes.

2012-05-23T15:20:24 --> 2012-05-23T20:20:24
Just mention the possibility that the eruption seen in the center north of the movie may be related with the filament activation/disappearance to southeast (near the limb.)

2012-05-22T21:00:36 --> 2012-05-23T00:00:36
The filament disappears probably because thermal changes rather than an eruption.

Movie

2012-05-22T13:00:04 --> 2012-05-22T20:00:04
The motions appear to be slow but complex. The eruption is quite local, not affecting the structures that stand on the limb.

Movie

2012-05-22T12:30:00 --> 2012-05-22T14:32:00
The northern leg of the erupting structures seems to be on this side, whereas the southern leg behind the limb. This eruption results in only a marginal CME.

2012-05-22T01:30:00 --> 2012-05-22T03:00:00
The region around the filament looks like a sigmoid, but this eruption appears to be localized, not causing global effects often attached to a sigmoid by some people. No halo CME. The eruption appears to be largely confined.
