2012-05-17T02:33:04 --> 2012-05-17T05:06:04
After the main eruption triggered by an M-class flare, a prominence which got stretched and fell down as coronal rain (see previously annotated event), appears to be thrown upwards again. This time it partially erupts and partially reconnects with a surrounding field.

2012-05-17T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-17T02:27:04
A thin loop-like structure appears above a quiet sun region as a coronal wave passes by. This structure wiggles as the wave passes by and disappears as the wave leaves this region.

2012-05-17T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-17T02:27:04
An M-class flare resuts in eruption. The erupting structure is visible mainly in 211A and only for a few frames (at 45s cadence). After it leaves the field of view, there is a transient brightening in the top of the loops overlyng the entire region. This brightening somewhat resembles a twisted spiral; it keeps still for a few more frames and then rapidly disappears. The is a prominence underlying the eruption site; the eruption stretches it along the limb and then away from the dis. The prominence later falls own as coronal rain.

2012-05-17T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-17T02:27:04
Coronal wave launched by an M-class flare on the W limb.

2012-05-16T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-16T15:18:04
A very slow prominence eruption perhaps a bit closer to a pole than is typical for its size. Some O-, later U- and later V-shaped loops show up at the top of the prominence.

2012-05-15T16:08:04 --> 2012-05-15T18:36:04
Two loop bundes are located next to each other in the plane-of-sky projection, one visible in 304A and the other one in 171A. There are also some loops overlying them. A bright flux rope in 304A appears to get disconnected from the point where the two bundls come together and the emitting plasma flows along the 171A bundle. The overlying field opens up, presumably resulting in an eruption.

2012-05-15T11:06:04 --> 2012-05-15T14:38:04
A filament of a spiral shape erupts on the SE limb.

2012-05-13T06:10:04 --> 2012-05-14T00:00:04
An eruption at the SE limb is only visible in 171A. It is followed byt the growth of a very bright and long-lived bindle of loops, which, as it appears from the plane of sky projection, enclose a filament.

2012-05-14T08:12:04 --> 2012-05-14T12:33:04
A large spray surge causes disturbancce in the surrounding diffuse emission field, suggestive of magnetic connectivity between this surge and the area of the corona where this disturbance is observed. The peculiar thing is, the wiggling in this field seems to start prior to the surge Was it the trigger?

2012-05-14T10:58:04 --> 2012-05-14T18:48:04
A filament erupts in a shape that starts as a cross and later evolves in a shape somewhat resembling some Chinese character. The closest I could easily find would be "fire".

2012-05-14T01:32:04 --> 2012-05-14T06:54:04
Thin faint filament eruption on the SW limb.

2012-05-13T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-13T18:28:04
A large prominence erupts on the NE limb. It raises up slowly for about hours, and at arond 15:50 a minor disturbance appears to propagate along its S leg and the remaining liftoff appears to be much faster after that.

2012-05-11T20:00:04 --> 2012-05-12T05:00:04
A close-up 304A view to one of the coupled eruptions annotated earlier. The movie shows the liftoff of the sigmoid (or a sigmoidal portion of a larger filament) and two large blobs dark in 304A flying away in the eastward direction.

2012-05-12T05:32:04 --> 2012-05-12T07:54:04
A thin, small, multi-stranded filament kinks, forming a figure-8 shape embedded into a bigger kinked structure, and then disappears from the 304 channel.
