2016-05-26T20:49:32 --> 2016-05-26T21:42:57
Coronal rain along low-lying loops in AR 12546 at SW limb, captured in this 400-step raster scan.

2016-05-27T04:37:45 --> 2016-05-27T06:33:34
AR prominence at NE limb showed wavy motions, similar to those reported by Okamoto et al. (2007) with Hinode/SOT seen in the Ca II H line. The vertical step in the off-limb portion of the image is an artifact possibly due to scattered light in the optics. It's low intensity, on the order of 1 DN, should not be a concern for science data.

2016-05-28T13:08:29 --> 2016-05-28T14:32:20
A prominence at SW limb showed a vertical structure, similar to the one reported earlier for the same day. This structure exhibited dynamic, wavy flows, and ascending motions of some material.

2016-05-29T06:12:35 --> 2016-05-29T06:58:02
A small-sized flare occurred in AR 12548 in a routine 400-step raster, but unfortunately after the slit passed the AR. The flare showed several ribbons in segments, and at least two episodes of brightenings.

2016-05-31T23:30:26 --> 2016-06-01T03:48:09
Prominence at NW limb showed circular flows and undulating/wavy motions (e.g., 01:15), amidst irregular flow patterns in the middle of the prominence volume.

2016-05-28T23:58:31 --> 2016-05-29T03:26:39
400-step raster thru a quiescent prominence in coronal cavity at NW limb. There were dynamic flows, especially the circular flows at the prominence apex, suggestive of helical field lines within a flux rope. Note the x-dimension appears to be squeezed, possibly due to asymmetric x,y binning.

2016-05-28T06:17:50 --> 2016-05-28T06:56:15
An active region prominence on SW limb had a vertical structure that was similar to vertical threads in quiescent prominence with meandering flows. At ~06:45, the top portion of this vertical structure was disconnected and rose upward, resembling the launch of a CME, but on a much smaller spatial scale. These were seen at 1400 \\AA, but 2796 \\AA\\ SJIs show the predominant horizontal threads as commonly seen in AR prominences. The vertical structure might have be a separate entity from the horizontal AR prominence, although they appear cospatial in LOS projection. Also note to far right hand side of the off-limb FOV - a dark, faint feature of inner-tube shape with a central vertical stick, which are on the order of 1/2-1 DN in intensity and possibly caused by scatter light in the optics. This primarily appear in 1400 and occasionally in 1330 SJI. Given the extremely low intensity of this artifact, it should not be a concern for science data.

2016-05-27T12:10:30 --> 2016-05-27T14:31:22
Dynamic flow patterns in this active region prominence at northeast limb. Most flows follow well defined loop-shaped paths, displaying some undulating motions - possibly resembling those Alfvenic waves seen with Hinode/SOT, e.g., by Okamoto et al. (2007 Sci). Note the turbulent-like flows at the apex of the main prominence.

2016-05-30T22:29:10 --> 2016-05-30T23:06:00
AR 12548 400-step scan revealed an AR prominence to the north and very sparse coronal rain to the south, with a low activity level.

2016-05-31T10:07:56 --> 2016-05-31T11:35:46
Coronal rain along loops in AR 12548 at NW limb. Note in 2796 SJI images, there was an active region prominence at the same location, with horizontal threads.

There were at least two episodes of brightenings, first around 16:32 and the second one near 16:47 UT. No clear ribbon motion. The western end of the faring loops were located within the sunspot.
