2012-05-21T03:30:00 --> 2012-05-21T13:00:00
This is an eruption from the far side, starting from slow activation and ending in the formation of post-eruption loops.

2012-05-21T04:40:12 --> 2012-05-21T07:40:12
Although no filament or prominence is clearly seen at 304 A, this is a filament eruption resulting in a CME that has the three-part structure. The prominence may have been too hot for 304 A.

2012-05-21T00:30:00 --> 2012-05-21T01:32:00
The collimated motions seen at 304 A can be traced to a longer distance at 211 A and 171 A as dark features. Apparently some of the matrials fall back to the surface.

2012-05-20T23:50:24 --> 2012-05-21T02:00:24
The eruption is clear in the dimming of coronal structures over the limb, and indeed LASCO observed a CME. However, the prominence does not seem to erupt to be the driver. Its motions appear to follow the vacuum created by the CME.

2012-05-20T19:30:00 --> 2012-05-20T21:00:00
This looks like a fast ejection, but the motions seem to be horizontal with vertical structures on the limb hardly affected.

2012-05-20T13:45:00 --> 2012-05-20T14:31:00
The poloidal structure seems to encompass the jet.

2012-05-20T11:45:00 --> 2012-05-20T13:45:00
The eruption itself is hard to see in this event, but the development of flare ribbons indicates that there is one.

2012-05-20T11:15:00 --> 2012-05-20T11:47:00
Two jet-like motions are seen around the same time.

2012-05-20T10:20:24 --> 2012-05-20T11:00:24
Just a small jet near the boundary with closed loops.

2012-05-20T09:30:00 --> 2012-05-20T10:16:00
This eruption is parimarily toward south with structures in other directions hardly affected.

2012-05-20T00:00:04 --> 2012-05-20T01:20:04
This oscillatory behavior should be some form of an eruption because of dimming. But it is not clear what drives this. Not clearly seen in other channels.

2012-05-19T13:00:04 --> 2012-05-19T22:00:04
It took several hours for the filament (prominence) to erupt since it starts rising motions. No major brightening is seen during the process. LASCO data show a nice flux-rope like CME.

2012-05-19T11:50:24 --> 2012-05-19T13:00:00
This eruption is associated with a C1.0 flare. The filament is seen in emission before it becomes impossible to track the eruption. The eruption causes a minor CME observed by LASCO, not flux-rope like.

2012-05-19T10:00:04 --> 2012-05-19T11:00:04
This is just a minor eruption, but the proximity to a coronal hole suggests that open field lines may be transported due to reconnection with the expanding closed structures. Even in this simplar example, it is not entirely clear which front-like structures correspond to loops and which correspond to waves.

2012-05-19T14:10:12 --> 2012-05-19T15:30:12
The brighteness of large-scale loops on the east limb changes to give an impression of loop oscillations. The changes in 193 A anf 211 A appear to be in sync, and hardly any changes are seen in 171 A images. No clear driver of these changes are identified in this expanded field of view.

2012-05-19T07:50:24 --> 2012-05-19T08:40:24
Large-scale loops standing on the east limb appear to change brightness in a oscillatory way. It is not clear if the bullet-like ejection from a region to the northwest has to do with the large-scale loops.

2012-05-19T04:50:25 --> 2012-05-19T07:22:25
Are these minor flares (seen in red at 94 A) at three locations, accompanying eruptions or simply mass motions, physically linked? The longitudinal span of these locations is 150 degrees or so.

2012-05-19T01:10:16 --> 2012-05-19T02:50:16
This eruption is associated with a C1.1 flare, and it does not look impressive, no obvious filament eruption, no large-scale dimming or wave. But changes over long distances around the time of the flare may be linked with the eruption. For example, in a area north of the eruption, some wave-like distuebances are seen and a set of small loops brightens. Also minor eruptions on and near the west limb are also noted.

2012-05-18T23:30:01 --> 2012-05-19T01:00:01
This movie alone may give an impression that the C2.2 flare in AR 1476 was quite eruptive, but its manifestation is not observed beyond this scale and no CME is associated.

2012-05-18T23:00:04 --> 2012-05-19T01:00:04
This may be called a filament eruption, but the motions look collimated. The corona to the south seems to respond to the eruption.
